The Depraved Babes of Slutfest 2004 invite you to dive into the all Trek series...

That’s right, we want your favourite Trek characters wet, wild and willing -- but mostly wet!

Did you realize that bubble bath was a Russian invention? That Trip Tucker was the first human to ever shower at warp five? That the original purpose of leola root was to make speciality soaps? That Dr. Crusher installed a five person Jacuzzi in the Enterprise’s sickbay for medical purposes (or so she claimed)? That the use of a wet towel as a whip was banned by the Bajoran-Cardassian Treaty of 2371?

Of course, you did. But O Glorious Babes of Wetness, you weep, what can we do with this soggy Trek knowledge we’ve soaked up?

Take any Trek character (s), original or canon, from any Trek series and dunk them into a shower, bathtub, swimming pool, river, ocean, lake or anything else brimming with H₂0. Splash them in the holosuite, their private quarters, hotel bathroom, shipboard jacuzzi, the Promenade’s sauna (two doors to the left, past Garak’s tailor shop), or on a water world of your choice. They can be all by their lonesome, with a special someone, communing with whales, or partying with a crowd -- it’s your choice. Heck, they can be in their dress uniforms, yellow polka dot bikinis (General Martok excluded for obvious reasons), or buck naked. We don’t care just as long as they have good, (eventually) clean fun!

Stories, vids and artwork of all ratings welcome!

1. NO RP (Real Person) fic! Sorry, but whomever Patrick Stewart or Scott Bakula choose to bathe with is their own affair (so to speak). Jean-Luc Picard and Jon-Boy Archer, on the other hand, have no right to privacy no matter what the former likes to claim whenever Q pops into his privy and .... Damn, where was I?

2. Must be a NEW story, vid or artwork, never before posted. For stories, must be posted on ASCEML between February 1st, 2006 and August 31st, 2006. For artwork or vids, a link to a webpage featuring the artwork or vid must be posted on ASCEML during the above time period. If you are not a member, contact the Rules or Web Babe to post your watermark for you.

3. Must include WetFest in the header and (for stories) in the subject line, so we won’t miss its belly-flop! Failing that, contact the Web Babe or Rules Babe directly to make sure your soggy masterpiece makes the splash it deserves.

   

All WetFest submissions that obey the above rules will be displayed and/or linked on the official (accept no substitutes) WetFest website maintained by the Web Babe Acidqueen and will be eligible for Official WetFest (accept no substitutes) Jonathan Archer Memorial Water Polo points to win the grand prize!

• Earn 1 Jonathan Archer Memorial Water Polo point for a WetFest poem, filk or story under 1000 words.
• Earn 2 Jonathan Archer Memorial Water Polo points for any WetFest vid, artwork or story of 1000 words and more.

The WetFest Author/Artist with the most points will win:

• A sopping WetFest 2006 Winner graphic created by Web Babe Acidqueen, featuring whichever moist Trek character the winner wants her to squeeze into a swimsuit (for the love of the universe as we know it, don’t ask for Martok!).
• A dripping WetFest 2006 collection of drenched quotes collated by Rules Babe Elizabeth Helena, on all things H₂O.
• And whatever else the Depraved Babes think up between now and August 31st! Now, there’s a scary thought. Meanwhile . . .
